Terms of Service

ClearRound is an AI-powered interview-preparation and career-intelligence platform built for the Indian job market. The Service includes mock interviews, resume tools, an ATS resume scanner, a cover-letter builder, a LinkedIn profile optimizer, salary calculators, an AI job-exposure tool, and related features. Some features are free; others require a paid subscription.

The Service provides informational and preparatory assistance only. It does not guarantee employment, interview success, a specific salary, or any particular outcome.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and your own.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. Notify us promptly at support@clearround.ai if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers:

• Pro — ₹199 per week
• Pro Max — ₹499 per week

Paid subscriptions are billed weekly through our payment processor, Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorize recurring weekly charges until you cancel.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. On cancellation:

• You will not be charged again after the current billing week ends.
• You retain access to paid features until the end of the active week you have already paid for.
• We do not provide refunds for the current active week or any partial week.

Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and may include applicable taxes. We may change pricing prospectively; we will give notice of changes, and changes will not affect a week you have already been charged for.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Upload content that infringes the rights of others, is false, or that you do not have the right to share;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service except as expressly permitted;
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission;
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others, or to generate misleading or fraudulent material;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You retain ownership of the content you provide, including your resume, profile information, and interview answers ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — for example, to generate tailored interview questions, score answers, optimize a resume, or run an ATS scan.

We process Your Content as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell Your Content.

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate questions, scores, suggestions, and analyses. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You should review and exercise your own judgment before relying on any output.

In particular:

• Salary tools (CTC, in-hand, HRA, gratuity, hike, offer evaluation, market value, comparisons) produce estimates based on the inputs you provide and general assumptions. They are not financial, tax, or legal advice. Your actual salary, tax, or take-home pay depends on your employer's structure, your declarations, and applicable law. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.
• The AI Job Exposure tool presents derived statistical estimates and AI-exposure scores for occupation groups, based on published government data and an AI-exposure scoring rubric. Scores are estimates of task automatability, not predictions that any job will be eliminated, and not advice about your individual career.

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and underlying data compilations (excluding Your Content), is owned by ClearRound or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks, branding, or proprietary materials except as necessary to use the Service.

The "ClearRoundAI" mark is the subject of a trademark application in India.

The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, payment processing, AI inference, voice transcription, hosting, and analytics). Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control. See our Privacy Policy for the list of providers who process data on our behalf.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any output will meet your expectations or lead to any particular result, including employment.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ClearRound WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ₹1,000, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClearRound from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, the provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 6–12 and 14) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
